I think they're wrong. NFL.com has SoS% for TB at .454, and MIA at .471.

The draft order in this article hasn't been updated for the results of the late games, but SoS% should only change marginally, if at all.

 

That doesn't matter. Draft order is determined by overall strength of schedule, not the result of one game against superior/inferior competition.

 

GBN is not wrong...they ran the #'s following the completion of the first 15 games today, but sure, we can wait till after the MIN/GB game when its all finalized.

actually no, they had 6 wins, we now have 6 wins...the confusion is several sites had the S0S% incorrect going into today's games.... (the .454 is wrong, its actually .483 going into today's game for TB). The CAR win does not lower their final SoS% below us. Ours is .469 following our win today

 

That's not the issue, conflicting strength of schedule numbers in the media is. Not sure what the answer is, but I'm thinking that we pick at #8.

What's funny (sadistic) if you wanted to play the what if game over meaningless wins.....the NE win over us today would have moved us into tie for 5th with JAX (coin flip as our SoS would have been identical @ .473).

But if you feel BAL win was meaningless, that would have moved us to 3rd overall pick.

and....PHI win over us would have given us the #1 overall pick in the 2016 draft.

Oh well...it is what it is as they say.

 

More important than 7 spots up is hiring the right coaches. No player will improve this team more than coaches who know what the **** they're doing and how to maximize player talent.

Nah just meant that more important than extra spots is a good coaches to maximize both current talent and new picks. Better pick would have been better of course.

Remember, I was under the impression that Tampa Bay began the week with a lower SoS% than Miami (.454 to .471, per the NFL's earlier, incorrect article). Hence the confusion.

 

I think we gotta wait for a coaching hire before mocking it out. Once we have a coach, we can start to look at scheme fits.

 

More important I think is the Jags getting ahead of us... they want that CB too projected as our 1st pick.

Also listening on the radio to N.D. vs Ohio St and heard the ND LB hurt his knee.

Maybe look hard at OL now... or trading up a few spots for the CB we wanted. Or down a bit for OL if can't get best ones.
