• Brandon Doughty (6-3, 217) — The Fort Lauderdale product joined the Dolphins after a brilliant career at Western Kentucky, where he led the NCAA in passing yards and touchdown passes twice, and in completion percentage in 2015. Doughty doesn’t have elite arm strength, but Gase praised Doughty in the offseason for his ability to find a way to turn seemingly bad situations into positive plays. If Doughty can continue that throughout training camp and the preseason, that might be enough to convince the Dolphins to keep him on the 53-man roster.
