I think they're either hoping Mac Jones is still OTB at #15, or they're planning on moving up to get him or someone else (Wilson or Fields maybe)? Can't see them moving up from #15 for Lance or Trask. But yeah, I think they positioning themselves for a QB in round #1.

 

Yeah either bad resource management or another shoe is about to drop.

Only rumoured Fins player I’ve seen at DB or DT is Xavien last year.

He would clear a lot of cap and get a really good pick. But i’d be furious if we dump our best player and by far our biggest difference maker.

 

If he wants out, let him out and grab top value for him today...which I'd assume would start at two 1st rounders. I don't want to see Howard leave any more than you do, but what I don't want is another Minkah situation (or Watson situation) where we don't take action, don't hear the player out before things get heated, and then it's too late to capitalize for maximum value.

Howard is the best CB in the NFL and will command a premium in the open market. We need to pay him or pull the trigger on a trade...it's really that simple.
