Dude, we lost. Even if the refs called those plays our way, we still woulda lost.

 

Nothing was more than obvious last week that the refs are bought. They won the Titans the game, and now this week. Something smells fishy, and it isn't us.

 

Last week was BS though, that last call for unnecessary roughness putting them in FG range made it more than evident the refs were ****ing us over.:tantrum:

 

1) It was incomplete. His hand smacked out of bounds (or so it appeared) well before his second foot came in. As far as comparing it to week one...I dont even remember the play exactly. All I can say is it was in fact incomplete.

2) I didn't understand that either. The difference was about 30 yards and that is huge.

3) More than the call, what bothered me is that they didn't call the blatant holding on the Texan tackles all day. If you're going to make those kind of calls, do it both ways.

4) Better question, why are they always AGAINST us. Even in our wins :lol:

The Dolphins aren't important enough to be the subject of a conspiracy. We're not very good. That is why we're 7-8.

 

We had a playoff game last week and lost.

What else is there to say. We are not a playoff team yet.

 

Regardless of conspiracy, it's stupid to say that missed calls have no impact on a game.

 

The refs are not conspiring against the Dolphins of all teams. It just doesn't make sense. Bad calls can happen without intent, and there were plenty of bad calls today. The refs this year are supposed to let the play carry out in situations like the fumble that wasn't called a fumble specifically so it is reviewable. They ****ed up bad on that one. And I never got to see a decent replay of the tripping.

 

Yeah wtf.

It wasn't much, but come on you could clearly see the gap between the ball and the marker. I think they go for it and get it anyway, but regardless that should never be taken into account on a call.

 

It wasn't tripping. I had the opportunity to see it PVR'd and Lex went low, the DE jumped over him and on his way down his foot hit Lex's leg.

It was a horrible, game changing call on a play that would have undoubtedly turned the tide. And probably why the network didn't replay it. It would have made the NFL look real bad.

 

Forgot about that one, but your right. It wasn't a first down by any means.

 

So because a team isn't rated highly it gives the ref carte blanche to make bad calls?

Sorry, but I'm not the type of fan that allows my team to take it you know where especially by the refs. Granted we didn't show today, but last week was a different story as we showed a lot of heart.

or barwin's offside when he was clearly back and in his stance before the ball was snapped
or the very generous spot for the dolphins on 4th and 1 at midfield...

Honestly, we are our own worst enemy. Whether the refs make bad calls or not, we did not play like a playoff team today. End of story.

The refs make bad calls all over the league, you just don't see them because most of the time you don't care, or don't watch those games. It's life. I've got a Steelers friend who is earnestly believes the refs hate his team, and 90% of the calls are bogus. Listening to that as a 3rd party with no vested interest in the team makes me bang my head against the wall.

The refs are going to get calls wrong, it just so happens we've had a few costly ones go against us. We've also had a few go for us (the review machine being broken for one of them). It happens, it's life.

I just don't see any point in getting up in arms about it, the refs will NEVER, EVER admit they were wrong, and all it's going to do is get you bitter. It's tough, but just hope that karma catches up with us.

 

1. Davis' hand landed out of bounds before his left foot came down that was the right call.

2. That was one of the worst calls I have ever seen in football. Something that was lost in the mix was that the Fins gained 24 yards after the punt. If they would have been correctly awarded the ball they would have been inside the 35 yard line. At the minimum that was a FG attempt that was taken away from the Fins.

3. Followed up by another bad call.

 

End of story.

 

Believe it or not we get those as well. We had a few good spots today and over the course of the season. No one brings it up when we are given an inch or two here and there and we get the first down.

Those kinda things happen all the time.

Answer- I believe Vontae's hand hit out of bounds before his butt cheek did, Camarillo was clear catch in bounds.

Since when do you blow the whistle on a play where the running back carries the ball for 10 feet and loses it?
Answer- I might need to be corrected on this but wasn't a new rule passed saying plays where the whistle blew are now reviewable ? If I remember right it was passed after the screwjob the Chargers got from the ref last year.

How is throwing a block considered tripping just because the defensive player goes head over heels?
Polite did trip on that play or attempted to, any time you whip your legs to block or tackle a player regardless of the results it is tripping.

How much more money are the refs making than the players?
I would assume that no ref on the field make more than any player on the field. Refs are human also and make mistakes, sometimes it hurts us and other times it helps us.

 

That had nothing to do with the spot (human error)

They actually measured, it was short, and they gave it to them. I dont think its because it was against us, it was a wrong call regardless.

 

How do you figure? One was a parfect touchdown pass that we later had to punt because of the call, and the other gave us +30 yards on a drive that stalled at the 40. Without the two ridiculous flags, we would have won by 3.
