And how do know they are not. That article talks about what the head coach is doing to create that culture. Isn't that what Joe Philbin is doing, trying to install a new culture? The problem is that it is too early for fans to be pining for something when Philbin has only had one off season and one game to do it himself.

I don't criticize Ross for going after the best coaching prospect I've ever seen.

Harbaugh is an elite coach. Obviously you give the nod to Belichick because he has the rings, but as pure coaches Jim Harbaugh is proving he is on that level. 49ers have talent but Harbaugh is a mastermind.

You're confusing unprofessional with crazy. Jim has a lot of crazy in him. Good think for 49ers is that crazy translates to crazy hard worker as well and his players believe in him.
