Not sure what to make of Smith. He's only 27, its not like Brees lit the world up in his first few seasons. And now he's a record breaking super bowl winning QB.

Smith is bad. They really dumbed down the offense for him last year. If you rewatch the nfc championship game he was missing throws left and right

 

This is a perfect example of why it is foolish to get excited about potential player/ coach acquisitions.. Imagine if the Phins were the proclaimed favorites to land Manning, meeting with him today to test arm and then the 49'ers swoop in and get him?

I'm warming up to Flynn.. Good luck to Manning if he chooses San Fran, he can probably get his 2nd ring while we develop Flynn next year and make a Super Bowl run in 2013 after Mario Williams takes out both of Brady's knees the first week of the season.

One can only dream, huh?

 

What interests me is when exactly Manning worked out for Harbaugh, took a physical for the Niners.....and nobody knew about it until Manning's side (I assume) leaked it.

Also interesting is the fact that he threw for the Niners first.

I was just saying the same thing to a guy I work with. Isn't it funny that the media knew nothing about this? The media knows what teams tell (lie) them. The media is nothing more than a tool for the NFL and they get used regularly. Yet, the fans are the ones who suffer.

 

I'm 100% going to that game. They're so going to kick our ***. :/ I probably won't wear any Dolphins gear though. A week ago I would've but I almost hate the Dolphins right now. Love them but hate them.

 

My worst fear is the Bronco's get Manning and Ross starts seeing $$$$$$$ and trades for Tebow. That would set us back big time.

Manning should sign with the 49ers immediately and not even think twice about it if they offer him a contract. This is the team which gives him the absolute best chance of winning a SB in the next few years. In fact I could see the 49ers winning two or three straight SB's with Manning as their QB for the next three years.

 

I bet he ends up in SF. Perfect fit.

 

They only like to leak info that hurts the Dolphins and reinforces the manufactured image of this team.. San Fran on the other hand is the new holy grail with their savior head coach and superior market.
