Some more tweets from this AM.

Dolphins rookie ILB Austin Spitler (illness) continues to miss the practices, allowing JD Folsom to gain some ground on him.

OmarKelly I keep waiting for CB Nolan Carroll to be moved up the depth chart but it hasn't happened yet.Still behind vets Jason Allen and Evan Oglesby

OmarKelly Ike Alama-Francis' emergence as a run stuffing OLBer makes Charlie Anderson's versatility less important. He hasn't worked with starters yet

OmarKelly Jared Odrick is getting better at playing the 5-technique every day. Have a hard time believing he won't open the exhibition season starting

OmarKelly Even though Paul Soliai is no longer running with the starters at NT, he's showing improvement.Still think he's a 4-3 DT though. Down to 345

OmarKelly Players coming off ACL injuries usually only participate in one practice per day, but that hasn't been the case with Pat Cobbs & Will Allen

OmarKelly Brandon Marshall, Patrick Cobbs & Will Allen are all back at practice after Sparano gave them day of Thursday. Don't know how much work yet.

wasn't oglesby released a day or 2 ago? i could of sworn i read that somewhere.thanks for the info.i am correct,oglesby was released to make room for micah johnson so i would hope nolan carrol can make it past oglesby on the depth chart.makes me wonder sometimes how legit some of these tweets are.

Yeah you can't believe everything you hear from these tweets.
One interesting thing was Folsom gaining ground on Spitler. That don't say much for JD being behind a late round rookie. Anyone know what Spitlers illness is about. Someone had mentioned his face was bandaged. Do they consider a broken nose an illness?

We resigned Evan a day or 2 later. Odd situation.

Remember Reyna Thompson? You just made me think of this guy...Shula cut him back in the day and then said it kept him up at night so they caught him in an airport in Texas, he came back and ended up playing about 8 years in the NFL....the difference in making it and not making it at the NFL level is so small that sometimes it is simply circumstance.

Dolphins ractice just ended. Nothing too crazy. Henne made a couple beautiful passes to Bess in between 4 defenders

-- Center Jake Grove went down with an apparent left leg injury on the second to last play of the morning practice. Grove got up on his own and walked off with a limp alongside the trainer

I think that may be the biggest question I've had the last week... I guess it would be if there were damage or two black eyes.

Hope he can go soon, I actually had a better feeling about him than Edds to be honest.

its weird but ever since parcells and company came on board this guy has been getting better and better. it seems strange to think but did he improve again over the summer? he wasnt horrible last year. actually thought he was adequate. if he improved he might have gotten to the level of alright. if he really improved he might even be good :lol:

Yeah, that's one way of looking at it.

That one tweet just made me wonder though. All through this camp so far, we mostly see J. Allen's name in a negative light, yet Sparano stated that he has had his hands on the ball more than any other CB. What gives?
