How can anyone take your opinion of Tannehill seriously when you insist on intentionally misspelling his name all the time?
Just to give you guys a couple of video's to watch of both Michael Brockers and Fletcher Cox. nice back to back plays by Brockers at the 2:18 mark..... against one of the better and possibly most underrated interior Olinmen in college-- Quentin Saulsberry 55, who will likely be starting in the NFL shortly. I wouldn't mind seeing us draft Saulsberry, too, by the way.
Yeah man, that video is more of a Saulsberry highlight video than it is a Brockers highlight video IMO. The kid playing C next to him handled his assignments pretty well too. Did you see those couple of plays where Saulsberry was sprawled out on the ground, and still managed to grab a DL by the ankle and trip him up? He's a scrapper.
totally. I wouldn't mind plugging him next to Pouncey if we're running a zone blocking offense(?)..... and he's a fill in for Pouncey if needed, too.
That was Dillon Day, who was a redshirt freshman this past year. He started at center when starting right guard Tobias Smith got injured again. Tobias is a heck of a player, but he cannot stay on the field. Saulsberry has started since his redshirt freshman season. He came to Mississippi State in the same recruiting class that produced Derek Sherrod. Sherrod, Saulsberry, and starting right tackle Addison Lawrence came in at the same time. Sherrod played as a true frosh. The other two redshirted. Saulsberry started at right tackle as a redshirt freshman, left guard as a sophomore, right guard and center as a junior, and right guard and center as a senior. Overall, he had 50 career starts at Mississippi State.
I saw where Warren Sapp apparently compared Fletcher Cox to himself. Fletcher is a little bigger, but he's the type of playmaking defensive lineman that Sapp was. Fletcher is the type of guy that resets the line of scrimmage. He has the chance to be a pressure player from the inside.
Fletcher Cox ran a 4.79 forty with a 1.63 10 yard split at 298 lbs. Super, super athletic big man!! Put him squarely on Miami's board. This is a guy that can play outside and reduce down inside on passing downs, giving the team a pressure player.
With the Browns possessing the #4 pick and another 1st round pick I just don't see how Miami has the competitive firepower to move up and draft RG III.
