A Colts site to talk about the Game

I'm not going to join because I have a hard time being respectful to fans of teams we're about to play or have played..

Pats fan = troll.

See what I mean? It's completely unavoidable...

 

Yeah, I don't know about this one. I really like the idea, but:
Pats troll is already very annoying, and them talking up their defense seems a bit odd. I mean this is the Colts. Aside from Freeny and Sanders, there isn't really much to talk up.

If I do jump in it will primarily be to connect with the guy from NM I imagine.

 

You're a better man than I FFIC, after looking in, think I'll just stay away.

You guys under rate our D! Maybe you'll be surprised... Freeney. Mathis. Foster. Hayden. Powers(is a rook but did well last game. no promises tho...) Our Dline is better then you think. And our pass rush will be on! so watch out! Freeney and Mathis made some miss sacks which cost us some! they will want to make up for it! We have blitzing! for once... lets just say we attack you not defend you! Chad is a good QB! and I have always liked him! I diss the jets fans for how they treated him!

 

With no dis-repect as I pointed out in your opening thread, I have nothing but warm thoughts for the Colts.......BUT, defense is far from being the first thing that comes to mind when somebody mentions the Colts.

I think Freeney will perhaps give Jake Long fits again just as Abraham did last week, but make no mistake, this O-line has tons of potential to be rwally really good. We will have to see if they take a step forward this week.

For the record, I have a feeling you guys are gonna see LOTS of Ricky and Ronnie Monday Night.

 

Our Dline has the potential to be really really good also. With two Proven Pro Bowl Ends in Mathis and Freeney! And new DT's that have shown they can do great things!

Peyton should be a quick scorer on you guys. Ricky and Donnie might have a surprising low in Numbers!

but all that matters in the end is the WIn.

yeah i saw that. you guys actually blitzed!whats the world coming to. you either caught us at a really good time in the year or really bad. we're better than we showed against atlanta so its a matter of whether that was a wakeup call or whether it'll take us 4 or 5 weeks to work out the kinks like last year. right now none of us know

I have nearly 700 posts on a Jets Board and still get called a troll. The irony of a Pats fan on a Colts board calling someone a troll is just classic though.

 

how do we know last yr was not as fluke? Well I hope you guys really do work out the kinks. but not Monday! and I hope it takes less then 4 - 5 weeks. trust me I know the torture of a bad oline! for running anyway!

out of curiosity if you had to run against your defense would you run it to freeney's side, mathis' side or up the gut? which do you feel you guys are most vulnerable too. BTW good job bottling up maurice jones drew. looks like running isnt the eassiest of things to do against you thats why i asked the question

If Ronnie and Ricky have low numbers, it'll be Dan Hennings fault. not the colts defense. That front 7 cant handle the run. they can get to the qb sure, but they got nothing in the middle to step up and plug for them.

And statistically, manning sucks in Miami. Don't know why, but some of his worst games have been in miami.

I just can't bring myself to go to fan sites other than thePhins.com, here I am cozy and warm and surrounded by family. I can disrespect the Colts just as well from here as go do it on their turf. In fact I probably couldn't bring myself to disrespect them over there, I'm just too nice. (plus I actually like the Colts and from my trips to Indy have learned there are a lot of very nice people who live there. Cleanest big city I've ever visited, I don't think I have ever seen a single instance of graffiti in Indy. Just nice folks, good town.)

ALl I know is Jake Long has to bring his A-game.

If I am Freeney, I am setting up really wide and speed rushing the edge a couple times... then once Jake is scared of that, I am counter-moving him.

Jake can be gotten that way.

Now, Abraham plays with more power than Freeney, so hopefully Jake does better against him.

I have to say that so far, though, DeGugliemo's results as O-line coach are far less than stellar in terms of the technique & awareness with which his players are playing... and of the protection schemes called too.

 

back at you man.. such a nice break from Jags and Pats fans we get over there before games. wish we played you guys more (well after seeing the game tonight, no i don't )

Colts fans (at least the ones at the game) have a ton of class and I wish you guys the best of luck going forward.

Not used to seeing opposing fans display class at our stadium. For all, we play in the AFC East.
