-Brandon Marshall IS practicing
-Channing Crowder is not practicing
-Mortty Ivey is wearing #44
Well now, it would seem Marshall will play this Sunday barring a setback, but the thing is, did Sparano bench him for 2 wks of dummy penalties, or was it a legit hammy?
Back in 11 days from a Hammy is a quick turnaround.

Zod, he popped his hammy vs the Bears? -
If you remember the play in the bears game where he went down, his leg stiffened up like he had be hit with rigor mortis. Looked like a serious injury to me.

Crowder might be seriously nicked as well Dobbins is practicing in his place, they moved a new ILB onto the practice squad and added Folsom back, another ILB, three moves and CC is on a bike.
Crowder is just having a rough season. -

It may also be that the DL is returning to their run-stuffing success of last year, which makes a run-thumper LB unnecessary. Having more athletic LBers on the practice squad may allow the team to make a move to improve special teams or tweak pass coverages to match-up against the athletic TEs/RBs they will soon face.
Has Spitler doing? Is he on all 4 special teams? -
Well, from personal experience, I see it very difficult to come back to 100% with a hammy injury in 2 weeks from that extent of a hammy injury (based on the video). Also, if it is partially healed you can run without a noticeable limp but you do feel the sensation still and lack explosion. The sensation of the hammy will always be felt by Marshall for the rest of the season I believe. I've had/have the injury and I still feel a sensation in my hammy even after 12 months but still do run to a sprint. The hammy is always in the back of my mind when I do run because of the sensation, and sometimes at a sprint the sensation worsens to the point where it somewhat feels like it will pop again. EDIT: After learning to live with the sensation I still sprint somewhat confident the hammy will hold up...
I only hope for Marshall's sake that his professional and constant rehab will rid him of that. -

Marshall and Merling injuries are faked. I mean Revis sat for what, 3 games? Marshall sat for a few days (Bears game on Thursday) and is back for theoretically the next game (Thursday to Wednesday is basically the equivalent of Sunday to Sunday). Merling, unlike Kory Sheets with the same injury, is back at the tail end of the season. Even if he was injured and healed that quickly, would it make sense bringing him back this soon? Is he truly that instrumental to our success that we need Merling back off an Achilles tear?
That said, I don't fully believe any of this and just want to make people think.Pandarilla likes this. -
