Also, David Tyree has been placed on the PuP list. He will miss six weeks.

Michael Bush has been moved to Fullback after the Raiders lost Orien Neal to a torn ACL. Bush is not happy with the move and I really don't understand it. They have Luke Lawton and Justin Griffith on the team. However, it looks to be temporary.

Thanks FS for the information. Sorry that my information wasn't about cuts.

I hope we pounce on Manning Jr. Veterans who still got it don't come around too often. Certainly would make me feel better about our CB depth.

As for Medlock, I half expected it. The guy has a heck of a leg but just doesn't have the mindset to be a reliable kicker.

Michael Bush should be their #1 RB. More talented than Fargas, more seniority than McStoppedOnInitialContact.

Yeah like Bush has proved any more than McFadden right?

I think Bush is the better back but Fargas has seniority and I think he's no slouch either. That says a lot coming from a UCLA alum.

I mentioned seniority between Bush and McStoppedOnInitialContact because that's the best way to get Bush into the lineup ahead of him. Did not mention it with Fargas because, really, neither of them are rookies, Bush is the better player, ergo Bush should be the starter.

We're talking about a first rounder before his leg injury, here.

Well he's more familiar with the camps, etc. He's a more talented player in my opinion and a better runner than McFadden.

Perhaps so but Bush has been unproven while Fargas was pretty darn good in limited time last season.

Justin Fargas had a pretty productive season.

I don't understand the move of Bush to FB though. I've always thought Justin Griffith was a solid FB.

    :hang:

That's what I have to do because that statement drove me to do it. I can only tolerate so much and this just done it because anyone that thinks Bush is better than McFadden is completely mad.

That... was exceptionally fast. Did Feely call Peterson "King Carl" to his face or something?

    Damn that was quick lol.

Hey, its not a surprise that you disagree with my opinion lol.

Speaking of Peterson, look for him to possibly get fired after this year.

Manning Jr. might be about as good as one of our starters this year. He's worth picking up except I wonder if he still has his affinity for beating up nerds.

The Ravens acquired Marques Douglas from the Bucs today after they lost a DE for the season. It was some backup. Douglas has played with the Ravens before so he's familiar with everything there but it was a surprising move considering Douglas signed a contract this off-season I think.

The Pats have cut nose tackle Steve Fifita

(Not a cut but worthy of mention)The Saints have placed receiver Adrian Arrington, a seventh-round draft pick, on injured reserve

    Bears cut DE Dan Bazuin

Texans cut Jamar Fletcher, Darnell Jenkins and Ben Moffitt.

I'm kinda surprised he hasn't caught on with a team. I thought he was a good player at ND. Underrated or maybe I really liked him lol. I thought he'd at least stick as a third down back or something.

Yeah it is and in the last game he had over 170+ yards from scrimmage. Thought that would have locked up a roster spot.

He had potential too but coming out early was a terrible move.

Especially considering that this leaves the Jets with Thomas Jones, Leon Washington and virtually nothing else. Not that I'm a huge fan of Chatman but he's certainly an upgrade over Mr. Thin Air.

Keeping a close eye on Colvin and Poteat. Colvin could essentially be a filler as a pass-rushing OLB if Porter misses extended time. Poteat's a solid veteran corner who impressed me in his time starting. Both have seen time under coaches from the Parcells tree and both fill some needs.

Same here, I thought the Jets could've used his veteran presence in their secondary. Poteat is a quality #2 guy who can get a turnover or two. At worst, he'd be a good nickelback.

I think you guys are over rating poteat. I watched his seasons with Pittsburgh and he was just ok and thats about it. Nickle at best in my book.

The Jets are looking for a number two from what I hear and he played it pretty well last year. I don't know why they cut him. I don't think we're overrating him considering Regan just said that he'd be a good nickel.

He's improved greatly with the Jets especially last year. He'd be awesome as a nickel-back. Gets turnovers and can cover decently.
