Hi guys, it goes without saying that we aim here to create the best Dolphins fans forum and website anywhere. The way that is done is by user contribution - good quality posts and interaction.

Generally it's a pleasure to be able to come on here and interact with Dolphins and other NFL fans from around the globe. However, we've had a few instances of insulting posts/comments and posts telling people 'where to go'.

That's not acceptable. So let's get things clear!

    Here's What Isn't Acceptable
    Insults
Insults do not make for strong arguments nor are they acceptable behaviour. No one should be insulted, slighted or told to leave. This includes questioning who or who is not a 'real' fan based on their stance on a given issue, calling people idiots, or worse.

    Political Posts
Posts on political subjects generally will not be permitted in the ThePhins.com forum. This is not because the members and management don't care about politics, discussion or free speech. We do. It's because history has shown that the TOS and expected standards of behaviour here are incompatible with political discussion. That is, political threads ALWAYS descend into insults and personal attacks and that's simply not acceptable. We'd rather not ban otherwise productive members just because they can't control themselves in political discourse. As such, we've chosen to keep this a sports forum where people can come and enjoy talk about sports in a friendly atmosphere.

    Commercial Posts
Posts with a commercial purpose, and especially posts advertising or linking to illegal products, including illegal streams, are not permitted.

    Here's what is acceptable:
    Passion
This is a fan forum, and we're passionate. You might disagree with someone vehemently. Good. That's what makes for good discussion. Tell others they're blind to the truth, tell them they're missing the point, tell them what you believe is the truth about whatever the subject is but tell them with respect. (See below)

    Here's what's Required!
    Respect
The bottom line. It's not complicated. Treat all members with respect and courtesy at all times - in threads, in PM's, everywhere.

What to do in case of a failure to adhere to the above
If you're reading a post and suspect a troll, or find an otherwise unacceptable post then please you use 'report post' function and the staff will deal with it accordingly.

Offenders will be warned and then face stronger action if necessary.

    Thanks.

    Thank you, Galant.

We all want a place where we can come and talk. To have a back and forth, and learn from one another. If we all felt the exact same way, it would be boring, and not much more productive than talking to ourselves. But we also need to respect those who have a different view. If you don't like what someone says, just move on. If you REALLY don't like what they have to say, over and over, then just put them on ignore. Easy.
