More money. No new years added.
"Although we are capable of great acts of kindness, history teaches us that we sometimes need saving from ourselves – from our recklessness or our greed. God sent into the world a unique person – neither a philosopher nor a general, important though they are, but a Saviour, with the power to forgive... It is my prayer that on this Christmas day we might all find room in our lives for the message of the angels and for the love of God through Christ our Lord." (Christmas message, 2011)
He pretty much just won a Super Bowl, not by himself of course but without him the Bengals are champs. Easy worth an extra $40 mil bonus for three more rolls
These kinds of things are very worrisome. The NFL is becoming more and more topheavy, and more players are getting raises on the same contract. I don't care how good a guy is, when he's under contract, the team needs to be able to feel confident that he's going on play under that contract and they have X amount of cap space to fill out the rest of the roster.
