I'm sensing this is a concept album with rock 'n' roll as a unifying motif.

Not bad - glad they still have the sound I'll be picking that one up as soon as it's released.

I hope it's a better album than that crap the Eagles put out recently. bleh.

Ah yes The Eagles go country...who can forget. :pity:

On topic however I can't wait for this album. I have been an AC/DC fan for as long as I can remember and well like I said before; "I can't wait."

I was able to see the Eagles in concert a few years ago and it was a great show because it was all the classic music that I grew up listening to. They should have just stuck to playing what worked and not tried to write anything new. Same goes for Elton John my wife almost literally fell asleep during his 13 song "sample" of his newest album.

I hope AC/DC comes relatively close to where I am. I've been to acdc.com half a dozen times to hear that song again. Still sounds they have have it.

The AC/DC sound is still definitely there (I have always loved the use of the drums in every AC/DC song I've ever heard). Gotta say I am excited.

BTW how does the Metallica thread have more posts then this one. :pity:

Because I doubt that AC/DC is as polarizing of a band as Metallica has been for the last 10+ years.

    Agreed.

True but great music is free from age restraints or at least it should be.

The verdict on AC/DC's new album

AUSTRALIAN rockers AC/DC have delivered their best album in decades, based on a sample of tracks from the upcoming album Black Ice.

NEWS.com.au today heard seven tracks from the new album in the studios of the band’s Sydney headquarters, Albert Music.

Reigning kings of rock or over-the-hill oldies?: Hear AC/DC's first single in eight years
The songs – Anything Goes, War Machine, Stormy May Day, She Likes Rock N Roll, Money Made and Black Ice, along with the current single Rock N’ Roll Train – suggest the band has made a remarkable return to form after a series of fan-only albums in recent years.

Judging by these songs, the 15-track album is the band’s most consistent and accessible release since Back in Black.

Really looking forward to this album.

I had an "error"-conveniently causing me to lose Section 1 Row S seats 7-9. The site timed out in 2 minutes-when supposedly you have 5. I am so mad-it is listed as sold out, but I know from experience that I can keep trying up until the day of and will wind up with tickets. I just hate not knowing.

Are you a member of the AC/DC fan club? They have 10% of the floor seats set aside for members only. What city do you want and I can see if they are still available.
