The 2008 draft will likely continue to be looked upon favorably as the years go by. The fact that this fella ranks it #48 of the decade represents how poor the rest of Miami's drafts were.

The decade has yet to conclude. Pointless article. Should have waited until after the 2010 season to write this, since to count the entirety of this decade, you'd need to include the 2010 class.

The decade is 2001-2010, not 2000-2009.

    Is this true?

So all those all-decade things done in December were done prematurely?

Yes and yes. The only way a new decade could begin in 2010 is if the calendar began with the year 0. It doesn't: the Gregorian calendar begins with the year 1. There is no year 0 A.D., only 1 A.D.

All those "new millennium" celebrations in the year 2000 were a year early too.

    Well away from here

And apparently the Y2K debacle was all due to these smart computer techs who couldn't actually count.

a career underachiever for a promising young QB seems like a fair trade.
