The Patriots are "still believed" to be weighing whether to sign restricted free agent LB Adam Seward to an offer sheet. Seward has to be hoping that the Pats step up because his chances of starting in Carolina are nill. He'd at least be third on the depth chart at inside linebacker in New England.
