Well the Ravens loss only matters if we're tied w/ them and the tie breaker comes into effect. My point is we should have beat the Texans so the tie breaker doesnt matter. I can accept losing to the Jets and Ravens cause they arent bad teams. The Texans loss is hard to swallow, and could make tie breakers suddenly more relevant than they should have been.
updated. Pittsburgh is moving into a strong playoff position. Their conference record is nearly perfect, and they are undefeated in the division. They have a difficult remaining schedule. Their fight for the 2 seed will be a tough one.
Aqua I hope you're right. I was thinking it out in my head. I think Indy's a lock after winning last night, so really that leaves one spot for the Ravens, Patriots, Dolphins, and Bills to compete for. If all goes according to plan, Miami and New England both at 8-5 going into week 15? I think the Ravens schedule does them in, the problem is I'm not sure a see a team left that can beat New England other than Pittsburgh...what do you think?
They can easily lose one game on that West Coast swing of theirs. Also Buffalo will beat them in week 17, in a tough pound the ball like game. We won't have to face Buffalo in that type of game.
That's true about Buffalo facing them in week 17. The only other team I thought of that might give them trouble is Arizona; but I don't think the Cards could handle the elements up in New England.
updated. no changes in position this week. but the pack got a little tighter with both the jets and pats losing. Miami is currently 8th, but they are merely one game from being tied for the #3 seed. Miami's division games vs Buffalo and New York will decide their fate. Losing a division game would give an edge to New England due to division record. it's gonna be a long december.
i think buffalo might lose the rest of their games. They play the entire AFC east, as well as @ Denver. if Denver clinches the their division in the next 2 weeks, then maybe Buffalo can beat them.
updated. Buffalo is out of the hunt. Miami passes New England by picking up a division and conference win. The Broncos pass the Jets due to head to head. Go Redskins!!! Go Bills!!!!
updated. Check out this scenario. If: Miami or New York wins out New England wins out Baltimore wins out Indy wins one of their last two games Then: New England will miss the playoffs with an 11-5 record That would be hilarious, especially if San Diego sneeks in with an 8-8 record. I will laugh sooooooooooooooooo hard at the Patsies if they win 11 games and dont even get a wildcard.
The Jets fall to 8th place in the AFC after losing to the Jets. The Dolphins now occupy the #3 seed for the first time in what seems like 400 years.
