13. DOLPHINS: The 1-2 punch of Ronnie Brown and Ricky Williams comes with issues: Williams has played just 13 games in three years; Brown is coming off a torn ACL. Before the injury, Brown was playing at a Pro Bowl level. http://www.sportingnews.com/yourturn/viewtopic.php?t=423516
I can't help but feel we are being extremely underrated in that article. I believe when all is said and done, we will have one of the best running games in the conference.
RB gets no love anywhere it seems. Its a shame really. At least they mentioned how good he was last year. I dont think we can argue much with the comment. We all know the running game can be awesome for this team... but there still is that one big IF... and thats if both RB and RW are healthy. Maybe thats their reason for putting us 13th. I think if neither was hurt last year, especially RB we see ourselves higher on that list.
LOLOLOL to these rankings, after the top 5 its complete hogwash. Actually top 4. KC does not have a good running game and does not deserve top 5. We should definately be in top 10 and realistically ahead of Jets, Buffalo, Patriots, Bills, Raiders, chiefs putting us at around 7-10 They even go so far as to name Darian Barnes, what do they think he will do for Buffalo that he didnt do for Miami or the Jets to make that a better rushing team. Larry Johnson will suffer from the Chiefs ignored offensive line. IMO he may not even rush for 1000 yards. Not to mention the Chiefs were last in the AFC in RYPG and Total RY. They start out with Maroney by saying he has a shot to be a legite #1 back and then put the Rats ahead of us, who have possibly 2 #1 backs. Thomas Jones had a total of 2 rushing TD's in 2007 - Need I say more. Actually the Jets only had 6 rushing TD all year. Less than 1 per game. Lendale White might eat his way out of the NFL. Yeah, he had 1110 yards, but he got it with 300+ carries and averaged less than 4 YPC. Yeah, there a formidable rushing theat. HA This list has holes all over it. I could go on and on
