Air Duct Cleaning?

305forum_veteranOPAnybody ever had it done and is it worth it? We've been having some sore throats from time to time and a friend had mentioned it. No mold in the house (had it tested before we moved in). House was built in 2002.

We had this done a little while ago in our house. For similar reasons. I was suffering badly from allergies and our house was also super dusty. I had heard this could help on both fronts. I have to say it didn't do anything for the dust issue. And I still have all the allergy and sinus issues for the most part.
I guess it can't hurt though. I think we ended up spending about $400 which seems like way too much. Dapper Ducts was the name of the company. If I remember correctly you live in the same area now, but I'd try and find a better deal if you decide to go through with it.
