Too bad the "president of the planet" has no clue about the "actual" planet we live on...

Gore has no clue – a few million degrees here and there and pretty soon we’re talking about real temperature

[Sorry - I know that a post about Al Gore does not belong in any Science forum.]

Oooops! Sorry Hof, I didn't know you posted Gore's comments from his Conan appearance already, as I started a thread on it in the PoFo.
May as well merge!hof13 likes this. -
Hey - no worries! Here's a little more about the "depths" Gore was talking about, too:

He also stated that there is the required heat "in most places" at 2 kilometers, which is more nonsense. While there are hot spots, "in most places" at that depth, it's not even hot enough to boil water, let alone bring enough heat back to the surface to work a turbine.
And you wonder why this tool has never, and will never participate in a public scientific debate on global warming, as his "facts" there are equally disturbing.hof13 likes this. -
Exactly correct.
He will never participate in a scientific debate as he is completely un-equipped to do so.
He should have the integrity to actually leave the science to scientists - or is he too busy becoming a billionaire?jason8er likes this. -

I guess the Earth, as it really is, just isn't exciting enough for his new book.
Here is a picture of the Earth:
Here is the same picture in his new book:
Now THAT''S entertainment!
Of course there can be no arctic sea ice, or an intact Florida in a Gore piece.
But, is Gore getting soft? I mean, its hot enough for an inland sea in the middle of Greenland, yet there is still ice there? Or Michigan now being a desert, yet he leaves the Great Lakes full of water? Come on Al, if you're gonna go catastrophe, go all the way! -
The Dems menagerie is frightening to contemplate, from Rev Wright, the Man Who Would Make Animals People to Manbearpig, these folks are flippin' nutz.jason8er likes this. -
