The Gators and Tide have their national championship playoff even if the rest of the country does not .

Bama will be a tough opponent. They play a pro defense and will slow the Gatoes down. The Gators need to stop Bamas running game and make them throw.

It will be a close game especially with Harvin out

Wow is Harvin out for sure?? If so I have to rethink my pick. Personally I think Bama's offense will have to play way better than they have all year, I think the Defense can keep UF around 20 points but will that be too much??

I for one am very excited, this is almost as huge as the OSU/Mich game 3 years ago, lets hope the game is nearly as good.

    Florida 23 Bama 16.

I dont have any word on Harvins injury. He has been nursing an ankle injury all year.I dont know if its an aggravation of that injury or not.

He may be used as a decoy if nothing else .Opposing coaches always have to know where he is and that might open someone else.

We may not know his true condition.Meyer may hide that

I truthfully think the game will be higher scoring. I really think our O will score 28 or so. I am just not sure how much our D can stop their run. That is the key to the game. If we can jump out early and force them to pass or stop their run to make them pass, then I think we win. Our secondary is playing lights out. However, if they can control the clock and make it a slow/low scoring game... Going to be a long day.

Harvin is not going to be 100 percent for sure. He is about 50/50 for the game right now. Everyone forgets about the Gator defense tho. I don't understand how no one talks about them. That is a stellar group and they will show up on Sat. For the Gator offense playing on the turf making them faster is almost scary.

Agreed, I think Florida's defense doesn't get half the recognition it deserves. I was much more nervous seeing Brandon Spikes leave the game last week than Harvin. I expect Spikes to have a huge game and the score won't be nearly as close as some people expect.

If they lose at all they're out. No way they'd have a rematch of the SEC title game as the National title game. Unless the computers screw UF, and put Alabama in over them...which might be possible.

Actually if any conference has a chance of a BCS title rematch it is obviously the Big 12...

Some people believe that if Florida narrowly beats Bama in an ugly game that Texas would be more worthy than UF considering the loss differential.

I think thats bogus personally, ofcourse UF's loss was alot worse but the real problem IMO is Oklahoma going in front of Texas to begin with.
