If we bring in a good FA Guard there and a quality backup LT for insurance, this could be a very good OL next season. It could go from a weakness to a strength...

It would also be nice bringing in Moreno on a cheap contract if he is fully recovered, the guy was a beast and brought a lot energy to the offense when he played.

with so much emphasis on how to protect Tannehill better (over a 100 sacks in two years), Im pretty sure we might have to spend on a upgrade at one of the guard positions, Im good with penciling in Turner but I think we have to get someone for the right.

Smith can be cut without creating much dead money at all.
I've seen enough to write off that experiment.
Hopefully they cut him and put the 2.75M back into the guard position via free agency.

Very encouraging news on Albert. His health/recovery is an enormous factor going into next season.

I met Knowshon the other night out in Ft. Lauderdale. He said his knee was doing great and looking forward to resigning and starting camp, nice guy. Doesn't necessarily mean we are bringing him back but he seemed to be in good spirits. It looked like his girl was mad at him, so I made it short and kept it moving. lol

Good to hear about Albert, we need him badly to come back like nothing happened.

Hard to say exactly, but he is considered no better than the 3rd best guard in this free agency group, after Mike Iupati and Orlando Franklin, so it could be fairly reasonable. He is a good player though and likely more than one team should have interest. I'd guess in the range of what Zane Beadles got last year?
