The Associated Press reports Ohio State OL Alex Boone was arrested late Sunday, Feb. 1, for investigation of resisting arrest. Boone was subdued with a Taser during an alleged drunken tirade. When Orange County (Calif.) sheriff's deputies responded, Boone was jumping on car hoods, yanking on a tow truck cable and trying to break a window, according to sheriff's spokesman Jim Amormino. Boone ran away from deputies and was found hiding underneath a patio, authorities said. Boone was combative and uncooperative and had to be taken down with a stun gun. Boone was taken to a hospital and then to a jail medical ward.
Talk about the dumbest thing you could do a couple weeks before one of the biggest days of your professional sports life. Boone wasn't a first day prospect but if he could of shown something athletically at the combine and interviewed well, he could of moved up to the 3rd. Real shame.

Well now, it would seem that there is no halfway doing things for Mr. Boone, no ticky tack nachos for this guy...he ordered the whole enchilada...

Well he is very immature a frat guy.
-
He just went from a 6th rounder to an UDFA

I've got a couple of friends on the OSU team - according to them this is standard Boone behavior out of season. Maybe not to that extreme, but they weren't too shocked by it.

It's too bad for him that he really sucks when you watch him play games over and over...otherwise people might not care about this.

God it was dreadful watching Boone play this year. wow once Barton left he fell apart. It was clear Barton kept him in check he actually finished plays and looked like that first day pick. He is to goofy and immature to be the leader of that Oline.

Boone looked slow and he doesn't hustle very much, thats for sure.
I know he gained weight this year, maybe that affected his ability to move, but it was still a down year for him. -
And I don't think there was a single DE that failed to whip him in the all star game.
