Here's an idea, if you want a coach, TRY NOT TO INSULT HIM!!!
I swear Ross is the worst owner in the NFL, now that Davis is dead!

Why are you posting misleading titles and then giving the tiniest of rabbit pellet ****s what Alex Marvez says? I'm not sure which one is a worse reflection on you to be honest.
Wow, I didn't even see Joe Rose was involved to boot.Section126 likes this. -
Ross didn't insult anyone.
That is the term Alex Marvez used to describe Fisher. Not Ross.gunn34 likes this. -
Where did Ross insult Fisher? This is just another ****tard article guessing, like everyone else on the board, what the owner is thinking and why he is interviewing like he is. Marvez surely must have an inside mole as he is confident in what he has written. Also remind me how an offensive mind guarantees great offense. A great coach puts together a great staff that coaches each of their groups. The head coaches influence is always going to lean to what side of the ball he coached. Is Bellicheck or Coughlin and offense or defense minded coach?

I don't see what Ross is doing wrong at this point either. The Peterson involvement, though a bit awkward, seems to be a reasonable thing to do. If I was Ross and I had a reasource available to me in a guy who's been there, done that and is also a close personal friend I would be doing the same thing. I don't particularly care for Peterson much but that's me. As far as two separate coaching searches I have yet to see any real evidence that that is really going on. The media wants to continue the painting of Ross screwing the pooch last year because of the fiasco with Harbaugh. Marvez's article is just the latest example of it.

I was wondering about Marvez's miraculous powers of observation as well. It seems in trying to make a silly analogy Marvez displayed for all how much he has really paid attention to Miami. Pure sensationalism journalism.

Why does it matter whether we tell the media what Carl Peterson's roll is?!? What does that have anything to do with our actual coaching search or how this team is being run?

nice try N00b.
Which I don't get either, Marvez is a bit player to my mind, he goes off like a drunken uncle, but rarely has any information, so why bother with his stuff?
Agreed, whether Peterson is publicly given a job or not is irrelevant. I am certain the topic of team structure has come up in the discussions with Fisher and the other interviewee's, because knowing who your boss is kind of important information. It doesn't make a darn difference if, at this point, they haven't told anyone outside of the building. That the candidates know and the team knows is the only people that matter at this point.
Obviously this thread is complete garbage. Beyond that, I'll say this about Marvez .... ever since he left SoFla media, he seems to REALLY have a bone to pick w/ the Dolphins. Somebody w/ the team must have really rubbed him the wrong way years ago. I mean, if the Dolphins had a season like the Packers did this year, he'd still find plenty to complain about. Just an overall doosh, I guess?
That and he kind of looks like Frankenstein in his picture, without the bolts.
just don't let it happen again. LOL!
