How about Jason Taylor at the 73rd pick not a late rounder but hes become all pro and was a third if I remember correctly.

J.B. Brown was good for a 12th rounder.

Bryan Cox in the 5th was also a steal.

Jim Jensen in the 11th round was a steal.

Howard Twilly was a 12th rounder who was a key cog in our championship teams. Sure handed as they come and could really run routes.

Harry Galbreath was a solid 8th rounder who started several seasons at RG for us.

Bruce Hardy in the 9th round. A fine Te for us for many years.

Don Nottingham was a 17th rounder who was a solid reserve RB for us for several years.

Doug Betters in the 6th round. Other than Jason Taylor, he was IMO our best DE ever.

Ed Newman was also a 6th rounder, and one of our best and most unsung guards ever. 4 time Pro Bowler.

There are many, and the ones mentioned here are excellent, but Danny Boy falling to 27 ranks as the best by a long shot.

He was downgraded after a sub-par senior year at Pitt, and five other QBs were drafted ahead of him. And he just falls into our lap, as if he was heaven sent!

Now, if heaven could have just delivered a defense too ....

Ironically, Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain were taken with the exact same pick in the same round in back to back years. Round 2 Pick 44.

    Definitely a couple steals there.
