One good thing about the National Football League is that every week is different and the chance to turn things around comes quickly.

The Miami Dolphins have been on both sides of the coin in recent weeks. They were riding high after knocking off the New England Patriots eight days ago to better position themselves for the playoffs, and now they need to rebound from yesterday’s untimely 19-0 loss to the Buffalo Bills that has left them at 8-7.

Fortunately, Miami is still very much alive for the postseason thanks to New England’s win over the Baltimore Ravens and can help its cause this Sunday at home against the New York Jets. A win over their division rival at Sun Life Stadium coupled with either a loss by Baltimore at Cincinnati or a win by San Diego over Kansas City to force a three-way tie would result in the Dolphins grabbing that sixth and final AFC playoff spot.
