'Mando is correct, Sparano won't ask those two to go full bore as in the past, when Ronnie Brown was coming off of the ACL he had a reduced workload in Training Camp.

Ah, but here is what 'Mando misses:

    Will Allen
    Ronnie Brown
    Brandon Marshall
    Pat Cobbs

Sitting out only means Kory Sheets, Tristan Davis, Lexxy, T Johnson, R Wallace, M Moore, RGM, Pat Turner, and Nolan Carrol, AJ Wallace, E Oglesby, etc all now have an opportunity to showcase what they can do in replacement for those Recovering Veterans.

Toss in Ted Ginn leaving and not only are there Reps in replacement, there is an alternate opportunity at Kick Returner Reps.

Hmm..if Korey Sheets fans are "Sheetheads" would that mean Ryan Grice Mullen fans are "Mullenheads"?

    O'Ryan Rising..:D

Sheets should get his shot, to a much lesser extent Tristan Davis, but with Cobbs and Brown and Williams all coming off of injuries, there will be reps.

Reminds me very much of 2008 Training Camp, put extremely athletic players in competition with each other, stand back, watch who rises, and who fails.

Dude, I'm embarrassed to ask but you've got to explain the O'Ryan Rising joke (I don't know the reference).

I'd love to see RGM and Sheets both on the squad...To me, it would mean that both have something other than just speed going for themselves, which, at this point is all each have... It'll still be fun to watch the returner battles and to see if Cobbs is really ready...We haven't heard much about his rehab so it'll be interesting to see how this all shakes out. I like Sheets myself, but he has to show something in the run game as well. RGM is a WR by trade...so he'll have to show he can return as well as develop as a WR...he does represent what we're missing in the WR group...speed...

Interestingly enough, RGM has a twitter account as well, but it is on "lock".

interested as hell to see Ronnie Browns leg's, and bubble...lol..

seriously....I need to see how you can get better and stronger in the offseason when you have a delicate, severe foot injury...offseason training is so important in a players performance progression...Iam afraid were not gonna have that with Ronnie.

Stands to reason, toss in Pat Cobbs and his ACL, and Hilliard/Sheets/Davis will have some touches, Sheets has the door wide open if he can walk through it.

on a more serious note i really am hoping to see kory sheets achieve his potential. he has some incredible speed and if he ever gets the blocking down he could be a valuable third down back. also excited to see cobbs back. kind of forgotten by the media but a hell of a back for us

My opinion on Sheets is he could be a playmaker for us, 6'2 212/4.4/4.3 speed I expect him to really shine in the preseason, ditto Tristan Davis though he has an even steeper hill to climb, he was a Returner at Auburn and good at it.
