Back in high school, I had a class with my best friend (still is to this day) and we had to do a report on air combat in WWII. We both balked on the assignment but knew we had to turn something in and needed to cite sources.

Keep in mind that our teacher was also the school's football coach who only taught classes because he was required to. Knowing this, we figured we could get away with making up some B.S. quotes and citing the source form a made up book about WWII. So we ended up typing up the SAME EXACT paper with the same quotes and fake sources cited.

The best part?

I got extra credit for it being so well written while my friend (who had the exact same paper) got a solid 85% on it (or a B). He was pissed and I laughed for days.

The moral of the story? When your history teacher is the football coach, it pays to be an athlete (my friend didn't play sports in high school while I wrestled and played baseball :) )

The kid who wrote the paper's last name is Nguyen? Another ironically funny gesture in the paper.
