I found this just rambling through miscellaneous articles -

It would appear that there are more reasons this particular quarterback was obtained than just finding a vet to fill the slot. As always, there are plans within plans within the Plan.

They knew White was a project and we shouldn't expect him to be this rockstar just yet. I think we will no more about White next year than this year.

Pat White may end up like Brad Smith of the Jets for awhile.

Was Thigpen locked into contract? I'm wondering if maybe they were scoping him out for Free Agency next year?

Hrm, an interesting article no doubt, thanks.

Our QBs are young with strong arms, strong legs and healthy. They are not polished yet but I still like them more than I liked what we had a couple of years ago.
I honestly like the Thigpen pickup more than any of the aged vets we could have brought in. If we want an aged vet on the bench to mentor the young guys we already have that in Pennington.
