I said that in my columbo voice.
Where’d all the old school hard asses who complained Mike McDaniel didnt LOOK LIKE A LEADER and looked like some geek squad reject who shouod be fixing your computer go?
Of all the nonsensical bull**** i read on this board (and there has been a lot!) that took the cake.
You ready to apologize and admit your mistakes now or you want some more lumps served first?
Embarrassing takes were made. Own it, cleanse yourself. Or we can pull receipts.

Preach!

No, don't preach, because that's not preaching....it's condemning. You are wrong about something every single day of your life, we all are, and there's no reason to try calling folks out on an internet message board. We're all here because we love the Fins, not so we can hate on each other. That should be the theme that binds us.

HE DOESNT HAVE A SQUARE JAW, HE CANT LEAD. it was the most insane drivel and that kind of thinking has held this org back for far too long and should be called outTin Indian likes this. -

I know some ladies and men too who think McDaniel looks like an absolute dreamboat! lol
He can maintain eye contact with the media, and is likeable which is more than I can say for the last several Dolphin coaches. Here's hoping he's here for a long time with lots of success.Last edited: Sep 26, 2022dolphin25 likes this. -

That was a dingleberry Patsie reporter said that, not anyone here.
Week one game thread, post 17
Patriots Insider Tom Curran says Mike McDaniel may not get loyalty from his players because he isn't tall, imposing, and muscular. And it "matters how you look as an authority figure" regarding being an NFL head coach. -
I pointed out that Joe Philbin reminds me of a badly rendered NPC in a video game. He's almost non-human in the way that he presents himself. Its unsettling.
Gase is just a douchebag, and Flores is an arrogant ***. Neither of them ever deserved to be head coaches.dolphin25, MonstBlitz and resnor like this. -

While we have started out good let’s not do the dolphin thing we do. I wasn’t one of those who *****ed about him but I did have concerns. That said he has two games under his belt. There is some tape of him now and how he’s calling the games and playing. Let’s let the season play out some more before we crown him the next don shula.
this week will be a major test and if we lose the wheels might start spinning off the bus. Be happy we’re 2-0 I had us 1-1 at this point. I picked us to lose this week also as I don’t believe our defense can stop Josh Allen.
Hope I’m wrong -
To those saying “it wasnt here” id read the mike mcdaniel thread, especially when he got hired. Oh yes, there were takes.

While it is very possible we could lose today (well, it’s possible to lose on any given Sunday) and if we do lose, we’re going to hear all of the bitter rancor rear it’s ugly head again, and I don’t understand why.
If the Bills are indeed the Crimson Tide or Georgia Bulldog Gold Standard of the NFL, then aren’t they SUPPOSED to win nearly every game they play? If we do lose and we play WELL, then it’s no negative reflection on the Dolphins, merely an endorsement of just how good the Bills are.
Just remember, we’re 2-0 going into today’s game when many, including some of you had us 0-2 already. Don’t become Chicken Little crying through the village that the sky is falling if we don’t prevail.
Personally? I can see a SHOCKER unfolding in Miami today. I’ve already said before that we’re going to split a game with the Bills and I doubt it’s going to be the one scheduled in Orchard Park this winter. -
Admittedly, it is way too early in McDaniel’s head coaching career to draw any conclusions, but coming back from a three touchdown deficit at halftime against a very good team is a pretty good response to adversity.
As was mentioned in the game thread, this team would have melted down in that same situation under most (if not all) of the coaching regimes of the last couple decades.dolphin25, The_Dark_Knight and resnor like this. -
I've been wanting Miami to find a coach they can keep for years and years. I know it's early, but really think McDaniel could be that guy, even with the small sample size. I don't want to jinx it, but he's calling great games with great game plans, making great second half adjustments, and as a rookie head coach, he hasn't embarrassed himself once yet with an in game decision.
