    Check out Joe Thomas's line:

Now THAT is a bad day, Thomas is considered a solid pro bowl quality LT and he was just owned.

    I knew he had talent....

And "no" Joe Thomas playing poorly does not make Jake Long better, however it does make him better by comparison though.

Dumervil is a rising star passrusher even if he is a midget relatively speaking.

No, but it will remind people that these players are mortal humans and have bad days. Even the ones that were drafted for their pass protection skills (Joe Thomas).

Jake Long will forever be compared to Joe Thomas and Clady in these message boards

Joe Thomas was from a different draft right? I want to know how Clady performed.

that could possibly be the most shocking statistic I have seen this year. I would have guessed that Joe Thomas would have manhandled Dumervil. I wonder how many of those were on Brady Quinn hanging in the poket too long?

Thomas was the #3 or #4 in 2007 and had a great rookie season as a Cleveland had a turnaround season, he had a good 08 as well.

Thomas, Clady and Long are the young up and coming OT's to replace Walter Jones and Orlando Pace's of the NFL.

All make mistakes. The big thing is how often do their mistakes lead to sacks? The more they can get away with without giving up sacks the better. I can't wait until tonight, this is killing me.

Same here, the MNF stuff this morning had Sean Smith on Reggie Wayne and I'm not seeing it happening like that, why would we put Will Allen on the Waiter and let the Rook cover their best Wr?

And if "us" fans are amped, the Dolphins are twice as amped up, no one wants to start out 0-2.

Broncos OLB Elvis Dumervil recorded seven tackles (all solo), four sacks, and forced a fumble in the team's Week 2 drubbing of Cleveland.

COMPARE TO JOEY PORTER'((( LAST 5 GAMES)))TOTALS

    10 tackles
    1 sack

So Elvis had 3 less tackles and 3 more sacks IN ONE GAME
    VERSUS Porters LAST 5 GAMES

Porter may talk a good game but his production over the 5 last games has been sad/poor

Cause we don't flop corners, and Wayne primarily works the left side of the formation.

We'll see, DC P has said he was going to play around with formations this season, tonight would be a good time to do so.

I mean...let's put our best Cb on a Wr who was walking the street 4 days ago?
