The Saints used a third-round draft pick on guard Andy Alleman last year, but he’ll leave New Orleans without ever having played in a game.
Adam Caplan of Scout.com reports that the Saints have waived Alleman, a 2007 third-round pick out of Akron who has practiced at both guard and center but has never gotten into a regular season game.
The Saints trimmed their roster down to 67 on Friday, meaning they now have to remove 13 more players from their roster this afternoon.

Who knows? But he was considered a big, strong, tough interior lineman who was regarded highly enough to be a 3rd round pick last year. We dumped a bunch of OL- T is first priority, but we can use quality depth for sure. Julius Wilson was waived- I wonder if he might get a second shot if he got his butt in shape.
