WE GOT SOME SERIOUS *** PRESSURE ON THEIR QB. Our linebackers were first in tackles but our safeties was second. IIRC in a quarters coverage a S's job is to make tackles primarily. If your CBs are making tackles in quarters coverage you're basically being beat. I'd like to see the linemen ahead of the cornerbacks by seasons end. Our linemen are leading in sacks which means we're getting some serious pressure up front. Our linebackers are penetrating because they lead TFL which probably also means our linemen are strong enough to hold up the oline blockers on opposing teams. Our linebackers also can muster up some serious pass rush as they lead the team in QB hurries.

Thanks. I'm glad you mentioned them though because I didn't know all that stuff. These numbers tell you a lot but they don't tell you everything They do tell me it looks like we've improved heavily as a defense and our linemen and linebackers are big contributors to it.
