She ruined the Vampire Mythos with her homoerotic vampires. I did like The Mummy.

I didn't like the vampire Lestat movie, (I can't stand cruise) but the Queen of the Damned is ok.. not great, but ok. Disturbed opens for Lestats band and Akasha is HOT. I really liked Maharet too, a serious milf. They followed the book close enough for me and the special effects were pretty good.

Ive read alot of Anne Rice books....I liked her Vampire series quite a bit....Mayfair Wtiches...eh...
Servant of the Bones was really good.
I did enjoy Interview with the Vampire...and I really did enjoy Queen of The Damned...I didnt go into that movie trying to see Anne Rice's book...because I had read reviews where people said it strayed alot...so...on its own terms...it was good. (Great Soundtrack!!!)
I think Stuart Townsend made a really good Lestat....better than Cruise.
Cant wait for Ramses to come out..in 2009cnc66 likes this. -

I think her best work in that series came after Memnoch; Merrick was phenomenal, and Blackwood Farm opened up another (much needed) chapter in the chronicles, which I had hoped would lead to more exploration of the vampires. Too bad she lost her **** and decided to "chronicle" :shifty: the life of Christ instead.
Anyone read Pandora or Vittorio, two books somewhat outside the Lestat coven? Pandora was an interesting character, and the book filled in the story of Marius.cnc66 likes this. -
