18 team league: 1 QB 2 RB 3 WR 1TE 1 K 1 WR/RB slot 1 WR/TE spot 5 DL 3 DB Keep in mind 18 teams * 25 players per roster = 450 players. So pretty much all the teams look like this or worse. QB Drew Brees - 1-18 WR Calvin Johnson 3-54 WR Joey Galloway 6-91 WR Mark Clayton 7-126 RB Larry Johnson 2-19 RB Rudi Johnson 4-55 TE Dustin Keller 11-198 W/T Craig Davis 19-342 W/R DeAngelo Williams 5-90 K Kris Brown 17-306 D Brian Urlacher 8-127 D Jon Beason 9-162 DB Champ Bailey 12-199 DB Donte Whitner 15-270 DB Jermaine Phillips 19-307 DL Ray Lewis 10-163 DL Keith Bulluck 14-235 DL Thomas Davis 16-271 Bench: 13. Return yards count as does pretty much anything else theres a stat for. Completions (1) Passing Yards (20 yards per point; 5 points at 300 yards; 10 points at 400 yards) Passing Touchdowns (6) Interceptions (-4) Rushing Yards (10 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 10 points at 200 yards) Rushing Touchdowns (6) Receptions (1) Reception Yards (10 yards per point; 5 points at 100 yards; 10 points at 200 yards) Reception Touchdowns (6) Return Yards (30 yards per point; 5 points at 200 yards; 10 points at 400 yards) Return Touchdowns (6) 2-Point Conversions (2) Fumbles Lost (-3) Offensive Fumble Return TD (6) Field Goals 0-19 Yards (3) Field Goals 20-29 Yards (3) Field Goals 30-39 Yards (3) Field Goals 40-49 Yards (4) Field Goals 50+ Yards (5) Field Goals Missed 0-19 Yards (-5) Field Goals Missed 20-29 Yards (-4) Field Goals Missed 30-39 Yards (-3) Field Goals Missed 40-49 Yards (-2) Field Goals Missed 50+ Yards (-1) Point After Attempt Made (1) Point After Attempt Missed (-5) Tackle Solo (1) Tackle Assist (.5) Sack (3) Interception (4) Fumble Force (3) Fumble Recovery (3) Touchdown (6) Safety (5) Pass Defended (1) Block Kick (4) Fractional Points: Yes Negative Points: Yes Thoughts and assessments maybe?
No bench? Your RB's seem solid considering the size of the league. WR are obviously the weak area, and considering it's 1 pt/reception top WR are usually a good source of pts. Not a fan of defensive players, I usually just try to get dbs who get return yards. Your league doesnt give much for return yards so it wont be that big of a deal. I think you'll probably do pretty well with Brees and those RB's. Hope that Johnson has a big year and that Clayton finally has a bigger role in that offense.
Yes; you're crazy. I can't even begin to make sense of that scoring, but it seems like you got a decent team for a league that deep.
That I am crazy is a forgone conclusion. Its been that way for a long time The WR's were flying off fast and furious as were the backs who catch a lot of passes like westbrook, gore (martz is OC), Addai, and even Lo Book. So I tried to go after the best RB's and WR's available. QB is definitely a priority in this league...to give an idea Brees outscored Tomlinson by well over 300 point, as did some of the good QB's like Eli and Garrard by about 150. Naturally I came up with the format. Don, you enjoyed that format the 1 year I ran a league that way. If memory serves me right you won or did very well. Maybe you dont like D players but it might agree with you lol. WR's are pretty much everyones weak link but I had 2 theories on that: 1. Almost everyones are weak or they have a deficiency somewhere else, likely RB or QB. Mine arent bad considered CJ's massive upside and Galloway went over 1000 last year. I definitely need 2 from Clayton, Kelly, Davis, Sweed, Colbert to emerge. Colbert will likely start weeks 1 and 2 while Brandon Marshall is suspended. 2. Wr's definitely emerge throughout the year and 1 can be found in FA or trade. Happens every year this way.
