Way better than the NFL's one, finally gave Pouncey some respect! Wake is 15, Pouncey is 44 and Jones is 74 for those who don't have the time to read it. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/story/...oaded-with-quarterbacks-rodgers-is-clear-no-1
That's really high praise, ahead of Aldon smith, JPP, 7 best defender overall, he has pounce as the best center in the game.
Prisco is usually pretty down on Dolphins but he gave Cam plenty of respect and it was nice to see Jones make the list. A lot of the talking heads still have no idea what position he plays.
Am I the only one who clicked the link and had a list that was missing a whole bunch of numbers? Mine shows Wake at 13 but once you get to like 40 there's a bunch that are missing.
He also put Marshall Yanda in the top 20 overall players. Yanda is good but that high? I wanna try some of what hes smoking.
I've been hearing this for years now and it's just not true. I can only surmise that he used to be down on the dolphins and the perception has stuck in many dolphins fans' heads.
Yeah, I was under the assumtion he liked the Dolphins, and usually spoke good about us in columns. lol I guess perception is strong..
Years ago, Prisco did dis the Dolphins a good bit. He was very obnoxious and I stopped reading him - kind of a shock jock writer. He's matured some. If I recall correctly there were times he thought Taylor & Thomas were overrated (I think that was him). Thought this was a great ranking (obviously): 44. Mike Pouncey, C, Miami Dolphins: His brother got more attention last season, but this Pouncey was the best center in the league. High praise, indeed.
Prisco was a jets beat writer for years in the new york post. Maybe he's realized the error of his ways
I always assumed he used to do something with the Jags since he always was loving on them when they were decent
Since we got rid of Sparano and quit screwing around with the Wildcat he hasn't been down on us the way he used to.
Haters? Do you think there is any aqua and orange blooded Dolphin fan that doesn't want that to happen?
There are a few, that judging by their posts about Tannehill, come off as though they would rather be right about the Tannehill pick then see him succeed. I dont know the actual feelings of those posters but I know what I read and how it sounds.
