ANTONIO BRYANT IS THE BEST WIDE RECEIVER IN THE GAME!!!
[ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o8y_pw170bE"]YouTube- Antonio Bryant[/ame]
Without a doubt, Antonio Bryant is the best Wide Receiver in the game. Racking up 600 yards in just 11 starts, Bryant was the Bucs passing game in 2009. Bryant has 2 1000+ yard receiving seasons in his last 4, including a career high of 1,248 in 2008.
Miles Austin, Vincent Jackson, and Brandon Marshall have all been franchised by their respective franchises. Reggie Wayne, Greg Jennings, Chad Ochocinco, Anquan Boldin, Dwayne Bowe, Donald Driver, and even Lee Evans have already been moved by their respective franchises.
I mean, what is the world coming to when a Ted Ginn auction is getting serious offers? You kidding me?
:omg:
That means your Free Agent WR pool consists of “The Malcontent” Terrell Owens and Braylon “Stone Hands” Edwards. That is, unless you feel like going after career #2 guys like Jason Avant and Steve Breaston.
Yes, the pickings are mighty slim. And maybe you’ll get one of those guys in FA. Heck, maybe you’ll win the lottery and win the services of the 36 year old Owens or suddenly average Edwards. Either way, you’ll be paying through the nose for them. Because they’re all that’s out there.
My question to you is why pay for a hamburger when you can have a steak?
Here’s Antonio Bryant, one of the game’s best wide receivers. I’m not Franchising him. I’m Transitioning him. That means you don’t have to give up a 1st and 3rd round pick to get him – we can work something else out. He’s relatively cheap – 4.89 mil. I’d suspect you will be paying at least 125% of that price in Free Agency for one of the other guys I listed above.
Some of you may think that you’ll just bid 5 mil for him and have him outright. I call this “the Nuclear Option.” If you bid 5 mil, I’ll just match and keep him. Bid 6 and I’ll do the same. So on and so on. It’s not like the Bucs, who by the way are terrible, don’t have the cap room. It’s nasty business, and I don’t want to do it.
So, let’s make a deal. I’m putting this listing up to gauge interest. I don’t have a specific price in mind. I do prefer draft picks over players.
It’s all about the free market. Send me an offer, either via PM or post it here. I don’t care.
Good luck, and with any luck, Antonio Bryant may be on your team next season.

Is that the same Lance Moore who caught all of 14 passes this year? Or the same Malcolm Floyd who has never had a 1000 yard season in 6 years in the NFL? Or the recently Franchised Brandon Marshall?
I'm offering up a proven WR who will be better (and likely cheaper) than all of the folks you listed above.
In fact I'll do you one better. I'm not interested in secrets.

Again, you can go second rate, with any one of these guys. That's certainly an option. But if you want a true #1 WR, a guy that has consistently gone for 1000+ yards, then Antonio Bryant is your guy. And I'm offering him up a lot cheaper than what you will eventually pay for these retreads in FA.unluckyluciano likes this. -
Just wondering. -
I do have to give you credit though. This is one of the better examples of trying to drive down the price of a player that I've seen this year. Kudos to you.
Oh, one other thing.
Can you do me a favor and admit that you want me to remove the tag from Bryant so you can bid on him in FA?unluckyluciano likes this. -

Ted Ginn...
-cheaper -roughly 700k vs the cap
-younger -turns 25 this year, while Bryant turns 29
-will cost less in trade compensation-I won't say what my reserve is in the auction, but I'm fairly certain it's less than what the Bucs want for Bryant
-just as good? this is where the debate will be. The above are facts. Here, it's all opinion and I won't even bother to get into it, as Dolfans, we all know the arguments from either side already. You decide.Vengeful Odin likes this. -
aint like noone criticized your trades. yes sanchez went for less. i personally not high on him. all these offers i supposedly left on table.
my point wasnt to bash you or what u r tryin to do. 4.89 mil on a cap hit aint cheap. if u r correct how bids go, thenni need to cut the other half of my team just to bid on more than 1 player
a bryant aint young anymore for a wr, not old but if thats cheap i am
in trouble in fa, i dont have that kind of cap space
other point was that u infer players like floyd will go over 5 mil. my point he and others r not worth that not even close. bryant woulb be steal @4.89 then. but as i said 4.89 on soon to be 30 yr old rec too much imo. -
How many 800 yard receiving seasons has Ted had?
Oh, and per my original post ... there's no reserve on this auction. Just make me an offer, PM me, post it. I don't care. -

Doubtful. Vikings don't bluff. They pillage your village, rape your women, and drink your beer.
Then sail home. Or, as it were, sit down in their new home. Which used to be yours.BuckeyeKing and Vengeful Odin like this. -
What draft picks are you looking for if he clears?
