That would be awesome. Blue or Black would be decent options too.

 

At the team store page the Suh jerseys look different. Not sure if that's just bad photoshop work, but the orange outline looks thicker and a brighter shade of orange. And I'm all for grey.

 

navy blue { which we already have complete outfits, jumpsweats whatnot}, or grey.

 

I just hope it more than a tweak (like a thicker number outline). I want something completely different.

 

Dolphins being mostly Gray, don't see why not.

 

Yeh...I asked Mr Garfinkle this question in Jan right about the time they started on the stadium and he said we are def getting alternates...and they look amazing! Which of course he would say....lol

to me navy blue is a cop out. i understand blue water but grey is what we need. Different but fits. Grey makes us unique

Agreed on the blue. It should be that blue. All the coaches sideline gear is in that color. Looks good in some of them mockups in the other thread about this.

Grey to me... is plain, boring, and being done by almost every team in college now, so who cares? It's not what we need.

 

In the minority here, but I love the orange jerseys. Fond memories of Ricky "orange crushing" the jets...

 

Yeah, I don't understand all the love for gray as a uni color on this board. And, I really like the color gray! But, that new navy color we have is just the fashizzle. I have one of the polo's from when it was first introduced, and I get compliments on it every time I wear it. That just has to be the alternate color IMO.

 

I want orange too! I think it will be our alternate blue, I dont think our Alternate will be much different from our current uniforms, just a color difference

 

I still love the orange. We kick *** in the orange. I have never liked the Navy Blue jerseys. Grey could go either way, but I still sport my orange jersey and get compliments on it all day long here in Georgia.

I got compliments on the orange Jerseys too I hate gray because my collage team uses gray too often. I also believe a medium blue would be ok but the orange jerseys remind me of better times while the all white uniforms remind me of bad offenses , and bad times .

 

It's a 3rd jersey. It will definitely be more than a tweak.

 

Screw grey, if we're going that route I'd rather have some shiny Silver. Aqua and Silver whaaaa?!

I just wished we could change the logo its too yucky for me. I don't know about anyone else but I wish we could use a aqua or black helmet with the old logo on it.

 

I could actually see a throwback of some sort this year because it is the 50th Anniversary season.

But, there was also a rumor back when the first jerseys were coming out that a couple people on one of sports logos/jerseys sites said that the third jersey was pretty different from the regular white and aqua jerseys, so much so that it was barely approved. That was just a rumor from someone who worked somewhere along the chain, so who knows how true it was. I did a search but found nothing.

 

If they do Navy I am almost guarenteed to dislike it... Only because so many teams wear Navy as their primary color including a couple foes of ours... Buffalo and NE.

And i've actually owned a Navy #99 Navy Jason Taylor so i've seen them up close.

I would rather them add a new color. I'm on board with Grey or Silver. As long as they do it right.

 

Most exciting Dolphin game I have ever been to.

 

One of the most exciting games we've had in the last decade period.

And my hopes are still for a jersey in the darker aqua/blueish color that some of the fan merch comes in now. It seems to be an alternate color for the franchise already and I LOVE it.

That's my guess. Something navy-ish. Someone, JT0323 maybe, did a mock up of a navy uni in a thread a while back. Looked pretty slick. I remember back in the early 2000s East Bay always used to have a dark navy Rick Williams jersey in it. Wonder if they're considering that now since it was just a marketing thing then.
