My two favorite college football teams are Miami (FL) and Michigan State. I know there are a lot of Miami fans here, but I'm curious if anyone else likes Michigan State in either football or basketball.

Im a Michigan fan... but as much as I should hate the spartans because of it, I really don't mind them. However if theyre playing the wolverines, id rather see Michigan win than Michigan state. -
When i was a child, and didnt know any better, and didnt really know anything about football, I decided id be a Spartans fan. Then as i got into football, Michigan was always on TV, now my brother has season tickets, and ive become a wolverines fan. I dont really hate the Spartans though... Ohio State on the other hand... I despise with all the hatred in the world. Well, i shoudlnt say all, because i HATE Notre Dame just as much haha Dont get me wrong, when its Wolverines VS Spartans... I'm rooting for the Wolverines all the way, I just dont have that same level of hatred for them that I do for the Irish and the buckeyes. Its weird, i know. Hopefully going to the Blue/green game this year will change that for me!

So you know what I'm talking about then seeing as ND and MSU is a pretty decent rivalry too. MSU always seems to find a way to choke and blow it though like that game a couple years ago, in the wind and rain when ND came back and won, wasnt MSU up by like 30 or something.. god that was painful to watch seeing as i hate ND so much.

I'm lukewarm towards Michigan State. After all, my high school shared the same mascot and colors right down to the jerseys.

I like MSU. When it comes to Big 11, I like Penn St. and then Michigan St.
But mostly I hate Ohio St. and to lesser extent (but not much) Michigan.
