Apparently he is very pleased with the way his interview went. I am too. After looking up his track record its become very clear he is the front runner along with Sparano.
If I'm the Washington Redskins or Atlanta, I'd be all over this guy! It's not everyday you find a person with a Super Bowl ring as a star player and as a coach. Also, he singlehandedly built the Trinity College football team into two time Conf. champs as a HC. He did everything from Head Coaching, recruiting, budgeting, to ordering equipment.
This guy may be a true find. If it were not for Sparano I think Frazier would be holding a press Conf. in Miami some time today.

The more I read the more I like him.
I think Atlanta is looking for 35 Head coaches, they are going to have a different coach each week and see how that works.:001_rolleyes: -
IMO he will be our top choice.......should Sparano decide to decline the job.A fall back position if you will .
-
id rather have an offensive coach.
-
-
I just get a gut feeling that Sparano is NOT the answer. At this point Frazier would be my top choice of the guys we've interviewed.
-
It's funny. The two most productive Offenses in the NFL (Colts, Pats) are run by Defensive Head Coaches. That should tell you something right there. -
You know how do we really evaluate these guys? I mean seriously...all we can go on is their relative success or lack of at their current position, which may or may not transfer to their success as a head coach. Ultimately as a fan all we can do is hope the FO gets it right and look at the product on the field next year.
-
he sounds good to me. the whole coaching search scares me.... it seems like we flub this every time just like looking for our future QB.
-
They will get it right this time. It all starts up top which is where the organization lacked knowledge and experience the past 10 years. Not anymore! -
I like the idea, but here is the problem. Washington, Baltimore and others are looking for a Head Coach right now. Is Frazier willing to HOLD off on taking the position until after Dallas exits the playoff's. If we hire Saprano and Frazier waits around he might miss his oppertunity this year... Not sure he would do that.
-
He's been my #1 choice.
-
-
I wouldn't mind seeing Frazier in Miami, but I'm thinking we'll be seeing Sparano running the show in a couple of weeks.
-
you never know how head coaches will pan out. all we can do is hope we get lucky, basically it's all about luck. it' like a coin flip.
-
PASS. -
To tell you the truth Lezlie Frazier might not be such a bad idea. We missed out on Tomlin last year under the same assumption that he was a young rookie head coach and look where it got us. We took the hot name at the time Cam Cameron and now we find ourselves looking for another HC.
-
Bill Muir, Todd Haley, Bill Belichik, Tony Sparano
are you getting the same bad feeling that I am getting? -
at least he didn't say "relevant" -
I would bet that Frazier wouldn't use lobster traps as a symbol, knowing that his audience is mostly urban
