Well, apparently this is a bridge for the Dolphins front office to the current players. It puts them closer to the team and creates a front office persona that could make the team more inviting to outsiders. It's a good face in front of the press as well. As Jason Taylor is well liked by mostly everyone. Pretty cool IMO. Thoughts? I'd doubt he'd have much say in personnel but you never know.

Nice, hope this is accurate.

I'd say its a very shrewd PR move, and one I like very very much..
And of course, it should help to put a few butts in the seats I imagine.Paul 13 likes this. -

Not a big Taylor fan after how he has behaved the past several years. I would prefer if it was someone else but I certainly can understand why they chose him. If this is legit.

Ted Ginn has been hired on as a WR coach....
Now maybe Hartline and Bess can run some clean, crisp routes and then actually Hang on to the GD ball! -

Honestly IDC what he did for us on the field. He went to the Jets.
It's like having a best friend your whole life and then he sleeps with your wife. Instant "I hate you" -

Deserving? Just about anyone you know isn't retiring the next season. We were never a playoff contender, not even going into the season. Bringing in Taylor instead of pretty much ANY younger talent was idiotic. Let him be a disgusting Jet. -
Hopefully he becomes a GM killer.
-
Misi is a waste of a roster spot in the 3-4 defense IMO. He doesn't deserve anything other then the bench over JT. Hate Jason for going to the rival all you want, but to say the guy that had 7 sacks last year, played over more deserving players is a joke. What has Misi done to deserve anything at all?

If really true ? Great, Jason Taylor is a class act all the way. His heart was here and we set it on fire then pissed on it. I think it meant more to him then any of us will ever know to finish his career as a Dolphin and play his last game at home. I was there, I am a crabby old man and even I had a lump in my throat for the kid.
One of the best Moves Ross has made so far. As I said, if true. -

So this is confirmed fake right?

Misi ranked #3 in run defense at LB his rookie year and had great QB disruption numbers last year. I forgot only sacks count though.azfinfanmang likes this. -

Or if we really want to dip into the alumni talent pool...the original #13 would be a very good choice. -
