    Untrue, there is no "new league" season so there can be no trades of players currently under contract.

    That would be difficult as courts typically use the threat of a contempt of court ruling to force compliance with their court orders rather than impose rules such as 'you shall use the 2010 rules" which means the NFL has a bit of time, I've heard they have to have something in place by Monday or Tuesday as the court also ruled the NFL's practices are causing demonstrable harm to players such as Vincent Jackson.

    Yeah I dont see the 8th Circuit (who from what they say is heavily Republican and conservative) acting on this today at all....courts never move quickly
