Interesting concept, that is one area I always felt the Roman Catholic Church had correct with the addition of the frescos and sculptures from mid 16th century Italian Artists.

Art was the medium of communication to an illiterate audience for centuries. Cranach's painting were vital to the Protestant Reformation.
But in addition as artists gave their best to God and the Church, people were made aware of a transcemdence, a vision of something greater than themselves. It would be wonderful for the Church to return to a place where they are a major patron of the arts.dolphindebby and gafinfan like this. -

Sorry guys...I'm not writing any religious metal songs. Stryper did that already, and we all know how horrific that ended up!

Inside, among many artifacts, is a small room in which monks' scrolls are preserved. They spend their whole lives creating these artistic stories through pictures. A must see :up:Ohiophinphan likes this. -

Artistry has not generally been kind to Pagans in general if my memory serves me. You might be missing a bet to become the most influential Pagan artist of your day? Kinda like greatest war hero of Monte Carlo or something?
:guitar:
I don't mean there haven't been artists who were Pagans, probably a lot even devout Pagans would reject, I mean artists creating art FOR Pagans????
