I asked how the game has changed since his days with the Giants and Pats, and if you can still be successful with the same types of players and schemes today.

I think you and I, adam, are both fishing for insight into whether Parcells is heading into FA and the draft still wanting burisng tight ends and D linemen high up, but running backs, WRs and secondary late.

I hope to hear what he thinks the best scheme and personnel are to win in todays NFL, as that'll give us a clue about which positions he may prioritize in terms of personnel.

 

lol- threw in a couple more questions

asked him updates on chris clemons, pat turner, cameron wake, john nalbone and kory sheets

also asked him what he thought of rex ryan predicting a sweep of us next year

and then finally just asked flat out will we be drafting lbs

 

Ask him "What's the best pizza joint in Miami?"

 

I think he'll have to change some, but that Pats team was a VERY pass happy bunch and they would fit right in with today's pass happy nfl very well.

Three of his four years with the Pats, Bledsoe had more att then Brees did this year.Also he spent two second round picks on WR's his 1st two years there as well.

So just going by that, it would seem clear were going after a WR in FA and or the draft with a high pick.

I asked if he thinks that with the uncapped year coming (possibly) does he see more talent coming out of the draft, or is there more potential for busts...

I just flat out asked him if he'll attack the weakness in the form of a missing big play receiver first or the other weakness in the lber corps...


I also asked what he thought of Rex Ryan's finger incident and whether that type of stuff actually helps his team any.

Vinnie, the first part: I do like working with Stephen Ross. I don't know the answer to the Taylor question at this moment. He's a free agent as of March 5 and we haven't discussed it yet. We'll see where that goes when the time comes.
