http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap20...e-revis-i-dont-know-if-bucs-back-greg-schiano I was one of the people all for the trade of Revis and it couldn't make me any happier that he landed on a train wreck of a team. I can only imagine the adjustment from Ryan's coaching style to Schiano's. Must be night and day. My argument has always been that if you could pick any position on defense to have the best player at, who picks CB? Not me. I'll take a stud lineman or LB over a CB any day. Trading Revis was absolutely the right move for the Jets and using the pick to get Richardson? They look like geniuses. Enjoy your time in TB, Darrelle....you selfish prick.
Schiano was in over his head from the go. What chimps do they have running their front office? Sent from my Transformer TF101 using Tapatalk 4
Come on now, top flight Cb's are Diva-ish as top flight Wr's, going all the way back the Michael Haynes and Hayes, always been like that BB.
Some of the talent on that team tells me they're nowhere near an 0-8 team. Schiano is just a complete ***-clown.
Remind me which team is exceeding preseason expectations and which one isn't. Hint. It is that train wreck in Florida Sent from my RM-860_nam_usa_100 using Tapatalk
$4 million is a lot of money, especially here where there's no state income tax. And living in Tampa ain't bad either. I'd take it over New Jersey bad that's just me and I'm biased. I didn't want the Jets to make that trade because it meant the circus left town and could make them better. It has. That said, I think Tampa could rebuild quickly. That roster has talent. They'll be in position to get a real coach and franchise QB next spring.
I don't agree that NY used Revis's pick to get Richardson. Having 2 first round picks allowed NY to use the higher one to secure Revis's replacement which obviously was of greater priority or else they would've taken Richardson first. Hypothetically, if you only had one first round pick, it would've gone toward Milliner not Richardson, and similarly if your #13 pick from Tampa happened to instead be your highest pick, it would've been allocated for Milliner. So I don't see any scenario or rationale that supports NY's intention to swap Revis for Richardson. Yes, on paper the pick was used for Richardson, but that's more about happenstance. If Revis were still a Jet, would NY have drafted Milliner? I highly doubt it.
