At least one team would start Mark Sanchez at quarterback in 2014 if he’s cut

NaboCaneNew MemberOPThe Post quoted a coach saying if Sanchez is cut by the Jets (and that seems to be the most probable outcome), he could be his team's starter as soon as he signed.
“We’d take Sanchez,” the coach said, according to the Post. “He’d be the starter as soon as he walked in the door for us.”
Let's assume that wasn't a coach from Green Bay, New Orleans or Denver with that quote. But teams like Jacksonville, Cleveland, Minnesota or Oakland might view Sanchez as a viable option, at least as a veteran bridge to their quarterback of the future that they'd draft in May.

its not that they are smarter. its that they think he is coachable and can get better.

Given the right circumstances, be can be effective. Look no further than the Jets last playoff run. He played very well against Indy and NE on the road. And he wasn't bad against Pitt either. If he had a coach like Harbaugh, I bet he'd be much, much better. He received very little or poor coaching while on the Jets. For the right price, he's definitely worth a shot.

This. He sucks but he isn't the worst in the NFL.
