I'm glad I switched to Rock Band. Instead of having to buy a million separate games there are two that are compatible with each other and you can just pick what you want from the enormous downloadable library. How much money does Activision really think people will put into buying all of these games they're spitting out? They really are going to kill this genre which is a shame.
Seriously, Activision is turning these games into shovelware at this point ... they thought so much of GHVH that they were literally giving it way with GH5. The DJ Hero thing looks semi-interesting but the setlist is crap and doesn't really interest me.
I thought the setlist looked pretty cool. Love the Daft Punk and Beastie Boys songs. Wish they had Mstrkrft on there though.
Just not my thing. I like Daft Punk and the Beasties as well, but I'm really not interested in the rest. This game will likely be something I get used a couple of years down the road. Right now I just don't need another plastic instrument peripheral sitting around.
I'm going to get DJ Hero eventually (maybe I'll get lucky and get it for x-mas). After all, I got a SFIV TE arcade stick and I am not even huge into fighters. Then again I did cancel my Prestige Edition of COD: MW2.
I've told you once, I'll tell you again, I'm not going to Honduras... oh, you meant... sorry. Yes, that would be nice.
Some of these look interesting but where the hell am I supposed to put all this crap? I have a hard enough time finding a place to put all the Rockband and Guitar Hero World Tour "instruments".
I should've posted this earlier, but if you can find DJ Hero used at gamestop it is only $59.99. You can stop in a store, or call (if you get a nice employee) and they can look it up and see if there are any copies within the area.
