anyone watch this show? Just saw the first two episodes an I am impressed, even though it will most likely get canceled due to low ratings

I saw the first 3 or 4 episodes and got bored of it. The gimmick of the show would have worked better if it was a movie in my opinion, plus I didn't like how it was basically just another CIS or Law & Order type show how each episode is sort of stand alone so it doesn't force you to have to watch each and every episode like 24 or Lost for example.

I watched the first 3-4 episodes and love the premise, but it got old fast and now the premise is almost secondary to just putting out episodes. Would have worked better as a movie IMO, or at the very least tie all the episodes into each other and make it a timeline thing.
Still, given all that I don't change the channel if it's on... but I'm not going out of my way to find it on TV. -
I miss shows like that, lost and 24 where you have to watch every episode, but networks hate those shows because you get more viewers from shows where you can just jump in. Thats what hurts fringe imo.

Have you checked out Revenge yet? It's pretty good and you have to watch each week. It's nowhere near as good as 24, Lost, Breaking Bad, Sopranos etc but it's probably the only new TV show that I have stuck with. I tried giving Touch a try (Kiefer Sutherland's new show) but outside of the pilot episode it got boring pretty quickly and there's a lot of filler/wasted time in each episode.

No but ill give it a watch. I gave touch a shot too and loved the pilot but since then it hasnt been as good. I do like trying to figure out how the people are connected. I hate how it shows every other country fascinated with American pop culture. I watched the 3rd episode of awake and was hoping they go into the twist at the 2nd episode instead of the weekly got to solve a case. Alcatraz was another show i started to watch but it got old real quick too...has it gotten any better? To those who watchit?

Revenge is a guilty pleasure for me, I feel bad for watching it, but cant get enough. Really excited about it returning tonight. I hope it gets picked up for another season. The acting is and weekly storylines are just this side of cheesy but still pull me in.

I believe it was already picked up for a 2nd season. And yes I agree the acting isn't the bad but the story is what sucks you in.

It was a fun and exciting ride! loved the show, loved the end, great series in all, sad to see it go, but I will treat it as a mini series. Hope it comes out on DVD. Boy NBC don't realize what they had
Also for those who think that the whole show was a dream, i would rewatch the ending, I think he created a third world. Would have been interesting to see how that would have worked out next season.Last edited: May 25, 2012 -

honestly if you watch the last 3 episodes thats all you really need. When i get home from work ill write a basic recap but it wont do it justice, the show showed promise at the end

I am trying to explain what happened but its really complicated.
Confusing but you need to watch it to understand it. IMO watch ep 10-13 and you will enjoy it. Just knowBasically Britten finds out someone was trying to kill him, which caused the death of his wife/son. The people in on it are Police Chief, Harper, and another cop that gets introduced in episode 11. In the Green World Harper kills the police chief and then Britten realizes she was in on it, and has her arrested. Red World Britten is charged with the death of his life time partner, who is shot by the other cop that tried to kill britten, trying to pin the murder on Britten which he does. In prison is where he realizes Harper was in on it. After its done, he is in the psychiatrist where it pauses and he goes through a door which turns out everything is a dream. Which some people think thats the ending but I think he created a 3rd reality so he can be with his family.
