Stevie Ray re-incarnated? My buddy at work turned me on to these kids... A young trio from the Isle of Man. Official Website The Lead Guitarist/singer... plays like a SRV meets Clapton meets BB King...and sings from his soul.... If you haven't heard these guys.. check them out...it's worth it! Check out the Media section of the website... but IMO the best track on the album is Gotta Leave ....the kid can play, and he shows it on this song... More Samples here...
Blues with an edge... or Rock with a blues bend... Think Stevie Ray Vaughn or Kenny Wayne Sheppard...
Then you will love these kids... seriously...check them out! and I'm not sure what happned to Kenny either ... he just kinda fell off the planet
I think he released a cd a year or two ago................................. Thanks man I'm going to look them up......
Thanks Brother Jon. Sorry I missed this thread. When I listen to them I hear a little Jeff Healey in there. Sounds Great though.
Ya know...that's weird. My buddy at work said he hears Bad Company and Lynyrd Skynyrd (personally, I don't hear either one of them). My first thoughts were Stevie Ray and Kenny Wanye... Another friend of mine hears Hendrix ... Now Jeff Healey... I guess everyone "hears" it a bit different...

How about that... hmmmm.. I do hear Jeff in his voice on some songs... I do hear SRV in the way the kid plays the axe though.... some of the licks are so Stevie Ray-ish ... it could be Stevie Ray.

I was lucky and got the CD today. You hear a lot of Hendrix, Clapton, some Jeff Healey, on there CD. All I can say it is outstanding, and I really enjoy it. I would rate it somewhere between 4 3/4 stars and 5 stars myself. I picked it up at Barnes and Noble, and it was the last one. I have listened to it going on 3 times so far. If you like blues, Hendrix, Clapton, this is for you.

Awesome stuff eh? I'm glad you enjoy it. Ironically... I found out 1 day too late that they performed a free concert at a county park 15-20 minutes away from me... I read about it the next day in the paper... man was I PISSED that I missed it Anyway... the Classic Rock station in Philadelphia has them on the top 5 "bands to watch out for" list now... they're gonna be big if they keep pumping out stuff like this...
