John Wayne Bracket #1 Tony Soprano - Cunnilingus and Psychiatry brought him to this. Vs. #8 Man with No Name - (Clint Eastwood character from the Sergio leone series) Anti-Hero, always seemed to kill the right guy..for the right reason. #12 Rocky Balboa - Yo Adrian, he is gonna kick some ***...and do it dramatically as well. Vs. #4 Jack Bauer - (“24" hero) Save the country, the president and leave a string of bad guys defeated. You know him. #6 William Wallace - (Mel Gibson in Braveheart) Freeeeedom!!!!!!!!! Vs. #14 Blade - He is part Vampire, carries a samurai sword and is the chief vampire hunter on the planet. #10 T-1000 - (Robert Patrick in T2) The Terminators chief nemesis. Unstoppable and relentless. Vs. #2 Rambo - He’s comin’ to get you.....and an army of your choice.
I always thought T-1000 was pretty badass, just the epitome of inevitable. You knew that no matter what he was always right behind you ready to tear you apart.
True, but I'm betting Rambo could corner him inside a steel mill. There's a couple great deleted scenes from that part of the movie that I'm completely lost as to why they didn't leave them in: the T-1000 malfunctions after being blown apart the first time and rebuilding himself, and he loses some control over his ability to copy objects. They show him grabbing onto a railing and his whole arm turns the same color as the railing. The way John knows that it's not his mom is he looks at the T-1000's feet and they're the same color as the steel floor. That's how John knows to get the hell out of the way. And you know what happens after that.
Honestly now, how did shrimpy, boozey Mel Gibson beat out CONAN THE FRIKIN" BARBARIAN?!?? If we were going historical Wallace, yea sure, but this is the movie Wallace we're talking about....maybe being Scottish is clouding my judgment...
Oh, and one note, since he appears to be on the verge of elimination, "The Man With No Name" isn't an entirely accurate moniker, even if that's how he's been known. In "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly", he's known as Blondie. In "Fistful of Dollars", he's called Joe. In "For a Few Dollars More", he's called Monco. So, one assumes his name is actually Joe Monco, even if we call him "The Man With No Name".
William Wallace is my dark horse. Anyone who lets himself be tortured and killed in the name of freedom is a true Badass.
Good point. I am a big Tony Soprano fan but he is not more badass than Blondie. I can't believe he's about to knock him out. What a shame.
It literally costed him his balls Oh and Rocky>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Jack "The little ******" Bauer. Yeah I said it.
I'm going to be so disappointed in the voting if Soprano beats out Blondie... It really shouldn't even be close, IMO.
Actually TMWNN never actually calls himself anything, those are nicknames given to him by the people he meets. Blondie - refers to his hair color Joe - What you call people when you don't know their name. Monco - Spanish (or Italian?) for lefty, as he only saves his right hand for gun play and uses his left wherever possible. It's a bit clearer in Yojimbo and Sanjuro (The Japanese movies the series was based off) where Tirosho Mifune when asked what his name is looks out the window and calls himself something that he sees.
He definitely shouldn't have won against Conan... That is why not everyone should be allowed to vote...
Monco is not spanish.. i wouldn't know if it is italian though. Manco is spanish though, but a means a man without a hand... which is not the same thing (zurdo is lefty)
jack bauer shouldve never got by Riggs. Riggs vs. Rocky wouldve been an AWESOME match-up. Cmoooown ROCK! I got Rambo takin this whole ting tho.
Braveheart- YES absolutely. William Wallace- Say it to my face and see what an angry Scotsman can do... j/k
